SoBe® and RockLive Invite Mike Tyson: Main Event Fans to Try Winning a Trip to Train With Mike Tyson
SoBe Flavor-Inspired Competition Packs Serious Punches, Encourages Players to "Try Everything"

PURCHASE, N.Y., July 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Mike Tyson has had his fair share of training with European fans, but has yet to do so with an American one.  Now, SoBe® and iPhone game developers, RockLive, are giving boxing, gaming and all-around fans the chance to be the first person state-side to train with Mike thanks to a new SoBe-inspired game within the current Mike Tyson:  Main Event experience. Dubbed the SoBe "Try Everything Challenge," the free new mini-game, available now,  is inspired by SoBe's flavors and brings to life the brand's "Try Everything" campaign by inviting thirsty gamers to compete for the ultimate must-try experience – the chance to train with the legendary boxer this fall in, where else, Las Vegas.

Tyson says, "I've trained with some fans in Europe and really enjoyed teaching my boxing techniques. RockLive has made it possible for my first American fan to train with me for SoBe's 'Try Everything Challenge.' This fan better be prepared to try everything in the ring!"

The "Try Everything Challenge" adds Tyson to a growing list of notable names and faces encouraging fans to try new things, whether it's tipping back a unique SoBe flavor blend, smashing virtual fruit or winning a brag-worthy chance to train with the infamous boxer.

To bag the grand prize, the mission is simple: hit the new beach level in the "Try Everything Challenge" mode and try dodging, punching (and squashing!) your way through various fruit-inspired obstacles and unlocking new Main Event power-ups.  Players can earn the aptly-named SoBe Power Fruit Punch and SoBe Lifewater Cherimoya Punch for their arsenal of attacks. Your boxer looking a little lethargic? Unleash the SoBe B-Energy Boost for stamina to keep you in the game.  The player with the highest score on the SoBe leaderboard as of August 21 will find themselves training in the ring with Tyson himself and even get to invite a friend along to witness.

SoBe and RockLive are also introducing a new SoBe-branded Circuit featuring a lively beach setting, Main Event's first female character and three new bosses ready to rumble. Using the SoBe power-ups from the "Try Everything Challenge," users will battle these three eclectic bosses to take their boxer one step closer to fighting Iron Mike himself.

Main Event, which launched in March 2011, has generated 1.6 million downloads and reached players in 150 countries to date.  Current Mike Tyson:  Main Event users can simply update the application to play the new SoBe "Try Everything Challenge" and new users can download it for free on the Apple iTunes Store.
