Ruffles Brand Introduces Classic Hot Wing Flavored Potato Chips Inspired By Buffalo Wild Wings
New Flavor Offers Deeper Ridges for Maximum Dipping and Taste

PLANO, Texas, March 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The real food flavors of classic hot wings are soaring into the chip aisle as Ruffles, one of the many brands that makes up PepsiCo's Frito-Lay division, introduces Ruffles Deep Ridged Classic Hot Wing flavored potato chips inspired by Buffalo Wild Wings. The new flavor, which hits store shelves this month, offers a unique combination of tangy vinegar, chicken and hot sauce reminiscent of the popular wings found on the Buffalo Wild Wings menu. With ridges two times as deep as regular Ruffles potato chips, it is a flavor sure to add a kick to just about any gathering.

The introduction of new Ruffles Deep Ridged Classic Hot Wings flavored potato chips builds on the partnership between PepsiCo and Buffalo Wild Wings, Inc., which was announced last December. In addition to becoming the primary soft drink and non-carbonated beverage provider for Buffalo Wild Wings' 1,006 corporate-owned and franchise restaurants, PepsiCo and Buffalo Wild Wings announced plans to bring other exciting new innovations to market. New Ruffles Deep Ridged Classic Hot Wings flavored potato chips stand as the first co-branded chip flavor to result from PepsiCo's collaboration with Buffalo Wild Wings.

New Ruffles Deep Ridged Classic Hot Wings flavored potato chips pair perfectly with new Ruffles Creamy Buffalo Ranch Dip. Ruffles Deep Ridged Classic Hot Wings potato chips are now available nationwide in two sizes — a 2.5-oz. bag for a suggested retail price of $1.49 and a 7.5-oz. bag for a suggested retail price of $4.29. The new Ruffles Buffalo Ranch Dip is available nationwide in a 15-oz. jar for a suggested retail price of $3.69.
